My class or 9r went out on a Friday to help clean the streets up and try and return our once glorious land back to what it use to be. So we started off by getting into two groups and then gearing up for the day or hour ahead of us and then we set off to clean up and express our sympathy for others and clean up some rubbish for them.I was leader of group two and tayla my cousin was for the first one and we were given this oppurtunity because we have been trying to train our leadership skills whilst in the course Arataki which is only available at the moment at bay of islands college.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo! Good on you for being part of the team who went out and cleaned up some of our local streets. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we didn't have any rubbish anywhere, it is such a problem especially if it gets to the sea.
Do you have any ideas on how we could keep our streets clean?
